Welcome Briana!

~~Congrats to Sherry, Ed, Brooke and Bailey and Welcome to Briana Faith Mott~~

Thanksgiving full of Blessing

For the first time ever I hosted Thanksgiving at my house. My parents and brother came and I made them as well as my family breakfast, snacks, Thanksgiving feast, and dessert. We had a wonderful day and like every Thanksgiving I enjoy taking stock of all the blessings both obvious and disguised that God has brought into our lives. We have so much to be grateful for just living in this country and having all the things we have that so many others don't, I am truly thankful for the life God has given me and hope that I never take any of it for granted!

Gulp Gulp

Jess likes to drink while she is walking and she very often nearly tips over... usually she catches herself, but thankfully when she doesn't she has a nice padded diaper to land on!!

Jessalyn came out in this outfit all ready for church and Jack saw her and said "Sissy you look so great in that!!" What a nice little compliment!

Perch

Our little pumpkin just loves to find anything she can "perch" on. It is the funniest thing -- sometimes she just kind of does it on the wall!!!

For Grandma B -

Jason took a picture of Jackson wearing the coveralls that Grandma B made for Jason when he was little so he could match his Grandpa Harry. We just had to post this pic to share with Aunt Jacque and Grandma B who live in Ohio!!!

Cruising along...

I am not as good at keeping everyone up to date on Jessa's stats and accomplishments as I'd like to be, but I found this little clip from halloween showing her walking skills (this was just before she turned 11 months. She took her first little steps at the end of her 9th month and perfected her skills during her 10th and here she is showing off her fearless attitude just before the turn to 11 months old.) Now if I could just find a clip of her hilarious dancing -- I'll keep looking! :-)

BIRTHDAY GIRL

Today my sweet Jessalyn turns 1 year old! I can hardly believe that it has been a whole year. It has gone by a little too quickly for me!! I am so thankful that God brought this sweet girl into our lives. She is so fun and we enjoy all the darling interactions between her brother and her. We are so excited for all the new milestones to come, but we will forever treasure this first year of her precious life!! Thank you God for this child we prayed for -- she is more than we could have ever thought to ask for.

there is just something about girl clothes...

I love the photo above where she has a hold of his hair... it is payback for all those photos and video where people think he is so rough with her...

More Halloween...

Jessalyn carried her own bucket all the way through the high school -- which of course got her even more candy because the kids all thought she was SO cute!!

Halloween....finally

So I know it took me forever, but here are some great shots of our trick or treating adventures!!

Wishin and Hopin and Prayin.....

I had to put this picture on ... these shoes were the ONLY thing I bought for Jessalyn when I was pregnant before I knew if she was a boy or girl. We were out yard sale shopping and I just loved them so much and I was putting them back and my sweet husband told me to get them so all my wishin and hopin and prayin came true and here she is in these adorable pink sneakers!

Delicious

I don't have a picture of it, but it made me laugh so I just had to blog about it. We went downtown to run an errand the other night and Jessa just had socks on. While in her car seat she decided to take them off and put her toes in her mouth (not unusual for this sweet child). Jackson yells from the back seat... "Mom and Dad -- her took off her socks and is eating her toes --- her thinks they're delicious!!" One day he is going to get his pronouns right and half of what he says probably won't be as funny to me anymore. He tells us all the time that just about everything is "hilarious"!! I'm so glad my kids are such crack ups like their father. :-)

Looking Darling

OK so this dress is probably my all time favorite dress so far that I've borrowed from Tyffany/Avarie. I just LOVE the way she is holding her foot in the shot by herself.
