The Lodge

This is a view of the Princess Lodge that Lori works at from down on Dan's road.

Our rental car, a view of Dan's cabin & driveway, and me & my little buddy!

Dan's place

First 2 are inside Dan's cabin--3rd is outside Dan's and the last 2 are inside & outside of the guest cabin. Dan did a great job building these!

Our catch of pinks, the town of Valdez, & watching a halibut get cut up....

Fishing from the shore in Valdez

The trip to Valdez was beautiful.

Worthington Glacier on the way to Valdez

The journey to the fishing hole.....

Dan had gone up a few days before and built this bridge for them to get across to fish.

More beautiful scenery......

Scenery on the way to Copper Center

Isn't it amazing?? God is such a creative artist!!!

JJ the Jet Plane

Jackson kept saying..."I ride J.J. Jetplane." He had seen a book or a cartoon called that and remembered it. Here are my guys getting loaded on the big plane from Seattle to Juneau. Chalk it up to being tired, lazy, whatever, but I didn't bother to take anymore pictures of our intended 4 hour layover that turned into 6 1/2 hours at Juneau. Also of our night stay in Anchorage, my kid watching tv at 2 am or our trip back to the airport to get our luggage the next morning -- it was a rollercoaster, but once we got our bags, a cinnabon, and a shower my attitude was much better! :-)

Killing time between flights

Because we used our airline miles for our tickets we got some pretty long lay-overs...here is the playroom at Sea-Tac that was such a fun place for Jack to play while we waited our 3 hours.

Jackson's first airplane ride!

This was our Horizon flight from Pasco to Seattle at the start of our trip to Alaska!

Exciting News!

Well I'm going to have to change the name of my blog... it will no longer be Shan & the boys as we found out the little one on the way is going to be a girl. We are all very excited and just thanking God for the blessings of health and happiness. We are so thankful for all that He is doing in our lives and for what He is teaching us day by day. We hope you are all enjoying the summer and all the beautiful weather. Hope to see or chat with everyone soon....~The Giuntoli's
