Summer Time in Moses Lake
This summer we did the season's pass for our aquatic center and our visits have been so numerous that I don't even take my camera anymore. I did however take it when we had Brooke & Bailey with us for a few days. While they were here we hit the pool and the bowling alley ** here are some shots of the cousins having fun together. (Reminder -- if you click on the photo most of the time it will take you to a larger view...the one of her by herself she has a cute look when you see it up close!)

Fourth of July!!
Our 4th of July started with a bang when our daughter decided to eat some of my dad's medicine that she found when I left her with her brother & cousin for 3 minutes!! AARRGGHH -- Jason took her to the emergency room for a few hours and they had her drink the charcoal stuff, which she gobbled right down (gross!). She was such a good patient that whenever the nurse came in to take her blood pressure she stuck her arm straight out as soon as she saw her coming!! Always my little helper girl. She was completely fine of course and got to enjoy some homemade ice cream as soon as she got back. Her little tiny hospital admittance bracelet brought tears to my eyes!! We endured some nasty black diapers as the charcoal cycled through, but we were so thankful that everything was fine.. as always praising God for His hand of protection!! The rest of our day was filled with great food, games, lots of laughter, and some fun photos ... most of which you can find at our extended family blog:

Father's Day 2009
After a morning of giving Jason his presents and thanking him for what a GREAT dad he is ... we headed to Cashmere to celebrate with my dad and then to Desert Canyon to celebrate with Jason's dad. We are blessed that God has given us good relationships with our parents and we thank Him for all of them!

My daughter the Monkey
Jessalyn discovered she could get out of her swing and this is one of the ways she did it...the first time she held onto the bar and did a gymnist type move that was more impressive, but this works too!! :-)
Summer Fun with the Syrie Fam
These are pictures from 2 trips we took to Cheney to visit our friends the Syrie Family. Jackson LOVED the movie Bedtime Stories so he was enthralled by their guinea pig. Jessalyn loved having a little girl (and all her girly things) to play with and Arya got her to sit in the babydoll's stroller so she could push her around. Monte let Jack check out the tractor which of course my son was totally digging!! We love our friends and are so blessed that summer brings enough time to catch up and enjoy hanging out!!

Reno
We made a little stop before heading home and spent one night at Circus Circus in Reno. Jack loved the games, circus acts, and he always gets really excited about spending the night in a hotel. Jessalyn -as always- was just happy to be along for the ride. Jason's brother Bob had business in Reno so we met up for dinner and the guys had a little brother bonding time over some slots! :-)

CALIFORNIA!!!!
We started our summer with a trip to Sacramento to visit Jason's brother and his family. Since we had our new car and didn't break down--right away it was starting out better than our last trip to CA!!! :-) We enoyed having the extra room and the kids were great travel buddies! It was a 15 hour drive and we only stopped twice. Jackson stayed awake the entire day and then 15 minutes from their house fell asleep... it was so cute how hard he was working at staying awake. He did wake up when we got there and we all enjoyed a visit and stretch before hitting bed. We had a GREAT time with them and enjoyed their pool, Bob's great cooking, watching the kids playing together, and my dear sister in law who always makes us feel so at home and relaxed. Jackson started out the week not so brave in the pool and by the end of the week was jumping in and swimming across...we were so proud of his accomplishments. Jessa enjoyed Uncle Bob reading to her and playing his guitar for her. We love them all and already look forward to our next trip!! :-)
