Spring in Seattle

We enjoyed a long weekend with Jason's sister & her family before they moved back to Wenatchee. We visited Pike Place Market so I could get some of my favorite teas, we ate great food, did some shopping, and did all the fun things you see in the posts below.

Emerald Downs

What trip to the West side is complete for my hubs without a visit to the Downs? We didn't hit any big trifectas, but the kids enjoyed the night and the big kids had some fun too!

Woodland Park Zoo & The Coffee & Chocolate Tasting

We enjoyed a hot day in Seattle for our trip to the park and lucked out they were having a coffee & chocolate tasting inside. Jack & Si enjoyed the elephants and Jessa liked the birds.

Mariners VS Red Sox

This is always my husband's game of choice. Jack got flirted with by some cute Boston fans who liked his hat. :-) Jessalyn had to borrow it for a quick pic. Silas & Jack were rivals for the night. Taylor Hicks sang the anthem and the BRS won the game! It was a fun night.

Mother's Day 2009

The rest of our weekend was spent in Couer 'd Alene, Id. Jason won us a trip to the CDA Resort, gift certificate for food, and a boat ride (but we didn't have time for it). He won it from a SuperBowl contest in our local paper. Can we say hooray for super fun blessings??? We enjoyed great food, a walk by the water, a swim in the pool, breakfast & coffee in bed, and Sunday at Silverwood!! (Their Mother's Day deal is great!) My darling 4 year old has his father's blood running through him... he squeeled over the roller coaster "Tremors" and kept asking when he'd be tall enough for the rest!!! My favorite was the log ride where we were all 4 able to go -- we did it multiple times.... Jessa smiled a lot proving she is likely to be just as brave as her brother!
